Join us for a meaningful pilgrimage that invites us to reflect on what it means, as lay people, to walk in the Marist way today.
10:00 am – Meet at Bradfield Park We gather at Bradfield Park, Kirribilli, at the foot of the Harbour Bridge. Here, with the Sydney skyline before us, we begin in prayer and set our intentions for the day, walking in the footsteps of Mary and the first Marists who chose simplicity, presence, and mission as their path.
Pilgrimage across the Harbour Bridge Together we walk across the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge. This journey symbolises the Marist vocation as lay people—crossing boundaries, walking side by side, and carrying Mary’s presence into the heart of the world.
11:00 am – Drink and Food @ St Patrick’s Arriving at St Patrick’s Church Hill, we share refreshments and fellowship. This time of hospitality reminds us of the Marist call to community, welcome, and joyful simplicity.
11:45 am – Reflection @ St Patrick’s Inside historic St Patrick’s, we pause for a guided reflection. Together we explore: What does it mean for us, as lay people, to choose to be Marist today? Drawing on Marist charism, we reflect on living humbly, serving quietly, and bringing Christ’s love to those on the margins.
1:00 pm – Finish Our pilgrimage concludes, sending us back into our daily lives renewed in the Marist spirit—committed to simplicity, presence, and following Christ in the way of Mary.
