Journal and reflect on the following
- Why does the risen Christ still carry wounds, and what do they reveal?
- How does the story of Teresa of Ávila challenge our understanding of true holiness?
- In what ways can suffering become a source of healing and hope?
- Why is it important that faith does not ignore or hide wounds?
- How are ordinary people called to be peacemakers in daily life?
- What prevents us from becoming instruments of peace in our world?
- How can Christ’s peace transform our own wounds into sources of love?
Song - Be his wounds
Final Prayer
Loving and wounded Christ, in this Easter season we come before you with hearts marked by both hope and pain. You who rose from the dead yet still carry your wounds, teach us that our struggles are not signs of failure but places where your grace can dwell. Help us not to hide from the brokenness within us or in our world, but to meet it with courage, compassion, and faith. Transform our wounds into sources of healing, so that we may become instruments of your peace in the lives of others. Give us the strength to forgive, the humility to serve, and the trust to follow you even in uncertain times. Roll away the stones of pride, fear, and selfishness that keep us from new life, and fill us with your Spirit, so that your peace may flow through us into a wounded world. Amen.
